We share information with service providers that help us operate, including Squarespace (website hosting, membership management, and e-commerce), Substack (Career Communiqué publication and subscription management), Google Workspace (email and client file storage), payment processors, podcast hosting platforms, and analytics providers. Each provider's own terms and privacy policy govern how it protects your information.

Career Communiqué subscription for members. When you join The Modern Manager Membership, we share your name and email address with Substack to subscribe you to Career Communiqué. You can unsubscribe at any time from any issue; doing so does not affect your membership.

We may also share information with authorities when required by law or to protect our rights, or with other parties with your explicit consent.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our site, remember your preferences, measure performance, and improve content recommendations. You can manage cookies in your browser settings; disabling them may limit some site functionality.

5. Email Communications

Members of The Modern Manager Membership are subscribed to Career Communiqué as part of their membership and may unsubscribe at any time without affecting their membership. Transactional emails about your account, purchases, and renewals continue while your membership is active.

6. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission, secure platform storage, and limited access to personal information.

Membership account data, including assessment responses and purchase history, is stored through Squarespace's platform. Consultation and coaching intake responses, session notes, transcripts, and client materials are stored in private Google Drive folders accessible only to Geneèn Wright and the client. These materials are confidential and are not shared with third parties. Session recordings may be transcribed using an AI transcription tool; transcripts are used only for session notes and are stored with your client materials.

No system is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide our services, maintain membership accounts and purchase records, meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, and resolve disputes.

Membership account data is retained for the duration of your membership and for a reasonable period after cancellation to support reactivation or questions. Consultation and coaching materials are retained for a reasonable period after an engagement to support follow-up and are deleted upon request. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting info@geneenwright.com.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct or update it, request its deletion, withdraw consent for marketing communications, object to certain processing, request a portable copy, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Members can update account information through their account on geneenwright.com. Career Communiqué subscribers can manage subscription preferences through their Substack account.

When you subscribe to Career Communiqué through Substack, Substack's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply.
